How Adding Things to Your “To-Do” List Actually Makes Life More Manageable
“To Do” lists often overwhelm us and we typically don’t want to add to them. Yet sometimes adding to them is just what we need to do to make life more manageable. In this talk, we will explore how these artificial limits actually get in our way and how flexibility can reveal unexpected possibilities.
Dr. Kathy Glyshaw is an adjunct professor in the psychology department. She has also taught at Loyola University of Maryland, American University, and the University of Delaware, where she received her PhD in clinical psychology. Dr. Glyshaw worked for nearly 20 years in the field of college mental health before devoting herself more fully to teaching. In her spare time, she enjoys photographing birds.
