Payroll Calendar
The Payroll Processing calendar outlines when paperwork is due for transactions that may impact when an employee is paid, how much they are paid, benefit enrollment eligibility, etc. These deadlines represent the final deadline for Human Resources and Strategic Talent Management to receive documents. This calendar does not reflect other departmental deadlines.

How Banked Holidays Work
When UMBC remains open on official state holidays, your holiday hours are automatically saved (“banked”) in PeopleSoft HR. Those banked hours are then automatically applied to cover the four university-observed holidays during Winter Break in December. No manual leave entry is required.
