Timekeeping and Leave

The Information Systems unit of the Human Resources Department (HRIS) provides guidance and information to employees relating to timekeeping and leave to ensure compliance with the policies, guidelines and procedures surrounding these two areas. Guidance include but are not limited to:

Leave Benefit Inquiries & Processing – Review, audit and management of employee leave data.

Leave Earnings and Guidelines (Regular Employees)
– Earn rates for leave plans and guidelines surrounding the maximum allowances and carry over balances.

Leave Requests – Evaluation and processing of staff leave requests. Requests such as:

    • Advanced Annual Leave
    • Advanced Sick Leave
    • Employee Leave Donation
    • Extended Sick Leave
    • Family & Medical Leave
    • Holiday Leave Carryover Exception
    • Leave Reserve Fund
    • Military Family & Medical Leave; and
    • Staff Parental Leave
