Open Enrollment will begin on Tuesday, October 14th and will end on Friday, November 7th, 2025 at 5:00pm.

During this time, employees can enroll, cancel or make changes to their State health benefits. All changes will be effective on January 1, 2026.

All changes must be made in the employee’s Open Enrollment event in their online SPS Workday account.

 

Who needs to take action during Open Enrollment?

  • Employees who would like an FSA for 2026 (flexible spending accounts do not roll over automatically).
  • Employees making plan or coverage level changes.
  • Employees who are adding a dependent (documentation is required).
  • Employees who are removing a dependent.

Please note: employees who are not making any changes or enrolling in a Flexible Spending Account for the 2026 calendar year do not need to take action in their Open Enrollment event.

  • Set up your OneLogin account (two-factor authentication) to access your Workday account.
  • Your username is your Workday SPS ID/W#

 

Forgot your Workday password?

  • You can reset your Workday password by clicking “Forgot Password” under the One Login login prompt.
  • Here is a link to more detailed instructions: Reset my SPS Workday One Login password.
  • If still unable to reset your password, please call the Technology Support Center (TSC) at 410-455-3838, Monday-Friday between 9 AM and 4 PM, so they can verify your identity over the phone before resetting your password.
  • If the TSC is unable to assist you, please call the State of Maryland SPS Help Desk at 410-767-4112, Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm.
