2020 was a huge disaster, but I suggest that the past year actually granted us an opportunity by pushing us out of our comfort zones and giving us the chance to find and embrace our personal strengths.
Diane Alonso, Ph.D., As Principal Lecturer in the Psychology department, Diane serves as the UMBC Psychology Department’s Program Director at the Universities at Shady Grove. With a background in Cognitive Psychology and Human Factors/Usability, Diane had extensive experience supporting the federal sector doing programming, systems engineering, and human factors engineering prior to joining UMBC in 2004. Additionally, Diane has a background in musical theater with over 20 years of community and professional experience as a singer, dancer, and actor.
