By the end of this comprehensive Time Entry training session new, existing, and alternate Preparers will be able to understand the importance of time entry and its relationship to ETS and payroll data. They will also learn tips and tricks for completing a successful time entry, resulting in employees who are paid accurately and on time. Preparers will leave this session equipped with the knowledge and skills to handle time entry challenges with confidence.

In this 1-hour presentation we will learn the various components of work-life balance and determine our own individual needs; explore the narratives we tell and how they affect our experience; learn self-advocacy strategies and time hacks to help us take control over what’s within our sphere of influence.

By the end of the Payroll and Leave Critical Controls training session, departments will be able to understand the critical controls related to payroll and leave compliance requirements. They will also learn best practices for implementing and monitoring these controls for their department.
Participants will also have the knowledge and skills to identify, implement, and monitor critical controls to ensure compliance and be prepared for their role in a successful payroll audit.

Offering both positive and developmental feedback is a critical workplace competency and yet so many of us let our nerves get the best of us. In this 1-hour session, you’ll learn what feedback is, why it’s important, and what might be getting in your way of delivering it. Different types of feedback will be discussed as well as strategies to offer it to different audiences (up, down, or peer-to-peer). Participants will leave with strategies to both offer positive and constructive feedback that works.

Community Mindfulness for Mental Health

Take a brain break and join in a weekly community mindfulness practice with other members of our student, faculty, and staff population. Mindfulness has been proven to offer a whole host of physical and mental health benefits including but not limited to lowering stress, improving emotional regulation, boosting cognitive abilities, and strengthening relationships. Come join us in building a progressive meditation practice together and supporting each other in cultivating greater resilience and well-being!
