You Deserve Your Own Care: Strategies to Get to the Other Side
In Spring 2021, I took a “self care sabbatical” – my heart hurt and my well was dry. Through therapy and other coping strategies, I was able to overcome a valley to see the sun rise on the other side. By sharing my experience, my wish is to help you to do the same.
Lori Hardesty is the Associate Director of Applied Learning & Community Engagement at The Shriver Center. In her 27th year, Lori has worked with compassionate students, colleagues, community partners, and alumni. She is thankful for her family, her friend squad, and the caring adults who impacted her life along the way. As a developer, Lori’s jam is lifting others, disrupting systems, and the relationships cultivated in the process to become better versions of ourselves.
