Personal Leadership and Project Management Program

Enrolling for 2018- 2019 Cohort 

 

The Personal Leadership and Project Management Program is an 8-month experiential leadership development program for UMBC faculty and staff who manage people, projects, and programs on campus. Cohort participants will be immersed in an evidenced-based systems view of leadership and will apply concepts and practices from the fields of neuroscience, organizational and behavioral science, project management, and business innovation to their individual, group, and project work. Participants will also have the opportunity to work on change initiatives at the larger University level as well as apply the same concepts and strategies to their own individual and department initiatives. Cohort members will collaborate with University leadership to select and engage with projects aligned with UMBC’s 2016 Strategic Plan.

We believe this program will benefit participants by expanding leadership influence, enhancing their leadership and project management effectiveness in their current role and position them for future growth opportunities.  For more information, please contact Jill Wardell at jwardell@umbc.edu or 410-455-1442.
